Began collecting records in 1996, first record ever bought was Born Slippy by Underworld. While having a broad and diverse taste, a lot of attention went to D&B, buying amongst others some jump-up Jungle classics that still work very well on the dancefloor. Started DJ'ing for a crowd at Break The Silence parties in Brussels back in the late nineteen-nineties under the name DJ Dimi. Made some mixtapes, played some parties, back then mostly Deep House, but always with a bunch of oher stuff thrown in. Style changed gradualy towards Electro, Drum 'n Bass and Rave Classics. Lover of heavy breaks and deep bass, old stuff and newer, with some Rave sounds thrown in. Was resident for Overlab parties in The Zoo in Hasselt and Trust Your Taste in Brussels. In 1997 DJ'ed for XL Air on the radio and at KultuurKaffee. Playing alongside Klute at Taking Back Mondays! (Je m'en Fish) on November 5 at KultuurKaffee.
